Join CREW Seattle for an exclusive, behind-the-scenes tour of Alaska Airlines’ $400M capital improvements at Seattle-Tacoma International Airport, followed by a happy hour.
This guided tour offers a firsthand look at how the passenger experience is being transformed through major terminal upgrades, enhanced circulation, and innovative design solutions. Highlights include improvements at Checkpoint 6, along with a rare, inside look at Alaska Airlines’ First Class Lounge and check-in areas.
Attendees will gain insight into the complexity of delivering large-scale construction within an active airport environment, where phasing, security, and uninterrupted operations are critical. Project team members from HOK and Hensel Phelps will share perspectives on design coordination, construction challenges, and the strategies used to enhance efficiency, user experience, and long-term performance.

Meeting Locations & Logistics:
Attendees may choose from two meeting points based on their mode of arrival:
Light Rail: Meet near Checkpoint 6 at Seattle-Tacoma International Airport (exact location will be shared prior to the event).
Driving: Park at the Hensel Phelps job site office (17930 International Blvd, Suite #550, SeaTac, WA 98188), where parking validation will be provided. Attendees will walk together from the office to the airport.
Optional Happy Hour:
Following the tour, attendees are invited to join an optional happy hour at 13 Coins, located within walking distance from the tour site.
