The DEI Committee is excited to present a Belonging Session in the South Sound.

Finding Your Voice – Boundaries & Difficult Conversations is an interactive 90-minute workshop designed to help participants navigate challenging conversations with greater confidence and clarity. Facilitated by Melody Montgomery, CCIM, the session combines practical preparation strategies with tools for entering and navigating difficult conversations in real time.

Session Overview

The content isn’t real estate-specific, but it speaks directly to a pattern CREW members know well: women are socialized to manage everyone else’s comfort, and a woman who sets a clear boundary is too often labeled “bossy” rather than simply a leader. The session names that dynamic directly and frames the tools through the lens of allyship, tying into CREW South Sound’s DEI committee focus for 2026: being a good ally.

Melody Montgomery, CCIM is COO of One More Deal, a commercial real estate coaching firm. She has served as an adjunct professor at Rollins College, the University of Phoenix, and Valencia College, teaching business, marketing, and communication coursework.

Melody has designed "Finding Your Voice," for CREW Seattle on boundaries and difficult conversations, and serves as co-chair of CREW Seattle's Marketing & Communications committee.
